Consumers can also check web hosting businesses at the Better Business Bureau Web site. The BBB will give an overall ranking of the business, the reasons behind the rankings, when and if the business is BBB accredited, and any complaints that were filed against the company. By shopping around using these resources, an individual will be able to find a site that is sure to the individual’s needs.
Additional Features
Some additional features that are available to those using web hosting include templates, layout overrides, and other customizable applications. The design an individual will use depends largely on the purpose of the Web site itself. There are a variety of options, though, for all types of Web site.
Many hosting sites will include a variety of templates to choose from to design the look of the site. In addition, some web hosting services offer an alternative where consumers can pay to have his or her own custom Web site built by a web designer.
