Graphic Design & Tshirts
Most organizations will make t-shirts for their members at some point. But what graphic design do you put on a t-shirt if you do not regularly design t-shirts? Most organizations stick with the small name on the corner of the chest and the large name on the back, or simply the medium size company logo on the front. All of those are great if you are hoping this t-shirt will make its way to the back of everyone’s closet. Most people wear t-shirts that they get for free to the gym, or while they are sleeping. How do you get your t-shirt to become someone’s new favorite? I am not a designer, but there are a couple things I like in a t-shirt. The actual graphic design is crucial. If you are simply using your company logo, be a little creative and add some extra flair to the shirt. Maybe have a t-shirt design contest. Also, put the graphic somewhere creative. For instance, you could have the words running down the side of your chest, like on the outside of your ribs, or have the words wrap around your hip on the bottom of the shirt. You may have to spend an extra half hour on your t-shirt and graphic design, but at least people might wear it more than once.
