Stand Out Logos
There are a few logos that stand out to me as very impressive. Usually they are simple, but at the same time get the point across. They do not always need to say the companies name, like the Nike Swoosh, although sometimes it helps, like Kellogg’s logo. Logos that catch my attention are more modern looking, and are more creative than a company name with a black background as well. My favorite logo is the Macintosh Apple. It meets all of the above requirements. Apple has continually kept the same logo theme (an apple) but keep modernizing it with their new product lines.
A more recent example of effective logos happened to be the 2008 presidential election. Like most politicians, these logos involved the colors red, white, and blue, and a lot had an eagle, or a drawing of the American flag. Obama’s logo was especially effective for the message he was trying to bring. As most of you probably remember, it had red and white-stripped ground with a blue sky with a white sun-looking symbol. It looked like it was a new American horizon, which is exactly what he preached in his messages.
