Toolbar Tactics

A relatively new idea for Internet marketing is pushing people to place your website in their favorites toolbar. Many studies have been done that say even if someone doesn’t particularly like your website or use it often, if it is put into their favorites, they will go to it much more often. It is simply much easier to click a button at the top of a toolbar than it is to remember and then type an entire URL. Many web developers have found ways to make adding their websites to someone’s favorites or bookmarks extremely easy, in fact all they have to do is click yes when prompted. If you are looking to get more returning visitors to your site, try requesting people to bookmark your page when they visit.
