Papa John’s Camaro Came at a Hefty Price

Have you ever been reunited with something that you thought was long gone?  Years and years go by but despite your efforts, there are never any results.  Fortunately, there was a miracle and one individual was reunited with his long lost item.

The first individual is the owner of Papa John’s Pizza.  The owner John Schnatter sold his 1971 Chevrolet Camaro in 1983 for $2,800 in order to keep his family’s business afloat.  Now, the family business is global.

Despite the boom in the family business, he still missed his Camaro and spent years searching for it.  He created a web site for the search and offered $25,000 to whoever found it which eventually turned into $250,000. It turns out the car only changed hands twice and when the original buyers heard about the search they helped Schnatter get in contact with the current owner of the car.

Schnatter eventually met up with the current owner and paid the $250,000 for the car which is now his pride and joy.  He even paid the previous owners the $25,000 as a reward for their assistance.  The current owner of the car had only paid $4,000 five years ago.  This man profited $246,000 dollars in 5 years which is a pretty nice return.

I’m sure the owner of the Camaro loved the car, but not as much as missing out on Schnatter’s offer of $250,000 which was 62 times greater than what he paid for it.  I wish I had the ability to accidentally fall into that situation.  Unfortunately though, for most of us though it will require a lot of work to get that much money.

However, it can be easier and quicker to earn the money if you have an education and enjoy your job.  The more education you have the more likely you are to earn more money and get the car of your dreams.
