New Internet Craze: Jumping on Beds
The newest internet trend is even more bizarre than in the past. Bed-jumping has hit a new high. When everyone was growing up their mothers would sit and tell them not to jump on the beds or couches. But once you hit adulthood you can do whatever you want. So people are posting images of themselves jumping on beds on a blog that’s being hosted by a hotel review site.
Photographs and videos on hotelsbycity.net show guests using beds as trampolines. Some have made up poses like “Superman”, “I dream of Jeannie” hovering above the bed, or thousands of other random shots. This is a craze all over the world. Thousands of beds are being jumped on and millions of pictures being taken to get the perfect shot plus lots of computers to edit and upload the images.
Are you into this craze? If so comment on this blog. Apparently the creator of the site BedJump describes the activity as “completely intoxicating.” I will have to wait and see how exhilarating it is but I bet it’s highly dependent on how good the springs are in the bed. It’s amazing though that this company has been able to turn hotel reviews and hotel space in general into a much more exciting and viral place for visitors. Especially since you can add your images and then rate the beds on how bouncy they are.
